Aria has been designing jewelry since the age of 14 and has had a strong influence in design as both her parents are designers. She is inspired by culture and design in all forms, as well as working in collaboration with different art forms. Over the past year she has had a great deal of inspiration through different types of electronic music.
The 08/09 collection was inspired by the ocean and the beauty of nature, as well as colors and forms created by modern architects such as Frank Gehry. The jewelry is intended for people of all ages and personal styles to create a staple in their wardrobe.
The women wear unusual combinations of panné velvet (hand-tinted by Dobric), leather cut apart and restitched with pronounced seams, and neckpieces of stiff painted silk cut into scales that resemble shields of armour.
Dobric's point of view is very specific - dark and moody and laden with handwork - but it's getting more accessible with every season. And that's a good thing!
SINS Gothic Punk Fashion Wear by Stella Sanders
Born and raised in Czech Republic, Stella moved to Toronto in 2002.
With a history in Ballet and Theatre, she moved on to study graphic design, computer programming and martial arts while working in local media. It was at this time that she discovered her love for fashion and design and began to study it, quickly developing her own provocative streetwear style, juxtaposing rock and punk style with more classic forms and taking costume design influences from her theatrical background to form something stylish but ultimately wearable by ‘real’ people.
VALILY by Claire Earle
VALILY is a sexy new brand of swimwear that was created by the designer, Claire Earle in 2007. Her work has been showcased in photo shoots and fashion shows in Toronto and Miami. She was also featured on BPM TV promoting her designs in Miami for the Winter Music Conference.
VALILY style is playful, sexy and unique.
Babu Et Moi by Filip Karadzic
Babu Et Moi is a design company whose goals are to present its artistic vision by introducing an innovative style of clothing and art - one that is young, eccentric, full of energy and somewhat theatrical. They view fashion design as an art and aim to bring something new and unique to the fashion world. Their main interests are streetwear and performance wear, with the ethos “Imagine clothing in the rhythm of music”.
babu et moi's principal designer, Rowena Jozic, has been immersed in art her entire life. She studied painting and drawing in Florence, Italy and fashion design at TEKO design academy in Denmark.

Revolve by Lara Stephenson
Revolve Clothing Company is a progressive clothing design for the conscious mind. A Canadian collection of eco-friendly womens tops, tunics, dresses and mens t-shirts adorned with awakening graphics, Revolve engages the mind and the body.
The Revolve signature is symbolic graphic design. Symbols influence our subconscious mind, says Lara Stephenson, founder and designer. They invoke memories from our past and stimulate our present. Because the subconscious makes up about ninety-five percent of the mind, the power of symbols on our well-being is infinitely strong." The graphic designs often have a thoughtful phrase or positive word worked into a symbolic image.
Authenticity - living in a way that aligns our inner and outer selves - is in demand today. A part of this growing era of awareness, the Revolve Spring/Summer 2008 collection features sustainable eco-fabrics, including bamboo, soy and organic cotton blends. Their garments are printed with environmentally friendly, water-based inks. The entire collection is designed and manufactured in Canada.
