Our Mission:Summer Music Conference is a global meeting place for artists, professionals and dance music enthusiasts. Its mission is to transform the way the music and nightclub industries interact with the world. The SMC unites people who are passionate about promoting social and environmental initiatives whilst encouraging education, enjoyment and synergies between industry professionals. Our Vision:Fueled by cutting edge music genres and top events, SMC's vision is to feature new ways of lowering the carbon footprint made by the nightclub industry. This annual music week stands to remind us that we need to look after one another; environmentally, socially and in all facets of our shared existence. We will be steadfast in our approach to bringing Love to the entertainment industry. What will the SMC achieve?SMC will increase the awareness of Social Entrepreneurship (SE). SE is the ability to create an organization that is aimed at catalyzing systemic social change through new ideas, products, services, methodologies and changes in attitude - in this case within club culture. By providing an exceptional forum to promote SE business structures, interested delegates can meet other budding social entrepreneurs within the music sector to share experiences and extend their networks. SMC will incubate new talent and provide a platform where music industry leaders and educators will offer informative discussions for a wide variety of enthusiasts and professionals, through seminars, workshops & panel briefings. Unlike many conventions the SMC welcomes all conference-goers to participate, explore, and enjoy the multitude of colourful activities within this five day city celebration. |
