SMC Live - is a live music festival within the Summer Music Conference which showcases the cream of Canada's unsigned bands and international cutting edge music talent.
Starting from Wed 23rd SMC Live is launching at several of the legendary live music venues in downtown Toronto.

This fantastic event covers all contemporary music genres and is geared towards both the public and the music industry. SMC LIVE helps to promote, nurture, develop and discover the most exciting unsigned talent in the Canada whilst offering record labels the opportunity to showcase any new talent at popular venues in Toronto.

SMC Live is cutting-edge, unique and is unlike any other unsigned bands night.
We have a panel of well known industry representatives giving feedback to the bands and our philosophy, motivation and altruism sets us apart.
There is a whole host of great musical talent that goes unnoticed. Summer Music Conference is all about giving bands/artists that are good enough the right support and the chance to break into and gain a better understanding of the industry.

Knowing how hard it is to gain access into the music industry, we want to be able to provide an opportunity for bands and artists to showcase their talent in various hot spots around Toronto where their vision could be realised - where music is nurtured, developed, celebrated and represented with trust, respect and understanding.

The public also get to see the bands and artists of tomorrow, before they become famous.

Additionally, we also provide the opportunity for record labels to showcase any talent that they’re interested in. It gives these labels the chance to see these acts live, in front of a large crowd at a great venue and gauge whether these acts have got what it takes. All they have to do is get in touch!”.
